Just a quickie: Lap Steel, 8-strings, E6th.
Lo-Hi: E G# B C# E G# B E
I'm currently using 54, 46, 36, 34, 28, 24, 16, 13,
(same as on my E6th reso) but I'm thinking maybe they should be lighter for the lap steel?

Tony,
I compared your string gauges with a guide from John Ely and you are right in the ballpark, I wouldn't go any lighter.
