I have the documentary one but haven't seen the two with the Campell brothers. Are those two as interesting? Are there any more than these three?

there are a lot: I think around 9. I think I have all of them, if that is any recommendation. The Cambell Brothers CD's are great - probably my favorite, which a compilation of a number of SS CD's is Sacred Steel Instrumentals. Sonny Treadwell's work is amazing on the first track. You really can't go wrong with any of these CD's. I love them.

The Darick Campbell CD is what I have been learning on. He is amazing, and there is a LOAD of good information if you pay attention.

I think the question was specifically about DVDs, not CDs...

Are we talking about the Homespun tape DVD's?

I have the Derrick Campbell one and I have the documentary on Sacred Steel. Both good. Having seen Chuck's homespun dvd.

Of course that should have read, "Haven't seen Chuck Campbell's DVD" (or his bvd's for that matter.)

I have seen Howard in a woman's hat however: cost me two weeks with a shrink to get over that one.

Yeah, it was the DVD's I was asking about but thanks anyway

I already have a few of the CD's. I'll probably get more although you have to watch out a little cause all of this stuff is not great.

Terje, I have Chuck Campbell's Sacred Steel DVD from Homespun. Chuck moves along at a pretty good clip but is thorough. I haven't changed my copedant yet so I haven't been able to get very far on my part but it is not the DVD's fault. Chuck works through a song using diatonic scales mixed with blues scales. He explains how to get the "sound" as well as the technique. I Would rate this as a 9 on a 10 point scale.
