Programing the Sonic Research ST-300 tuner
I love this tuner, but was bummed to learn that I can't program a custom tuning using a Mac, which is what I have. Any ideas? Anyone willing to do it for me? I'd be happy to compensate.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding you, but you don’t need to hook up a computer to program a custom offset tuning on the Turbo Tuner.
Or some specific reason you want to program the tuning from a computer?

According to the site it will be MAC compatible in the future.
I have an older model ST122a. I also have the new Peterson StroboPLUS HD. The Peterson wins out as it can be programmed with a computer. The manual programming is "clunky" at best on the ST122a. I've had to start over several times before I got it programmed to what I wanted. An Apple version is in the works and will be available soon

I've had a sonic for several years and love it. I didn't have a problem programming it. Plus, it's a very accurate and easy to read tuner.

ST 300 Update
I just received an ST300 This tuner is not capable as delivered of storing 10 string offsets. Apparently the new firmware doesn't support it. I have been on the phone with tech support.. they may be able to provide a Beta Version for pedal steel, or else it will be returned. I will update.

Great Customer Service
I realize this post is a year old, but there's not much on this tuner. I just received one, and if you let them know that you are using it for pedal steel at the time of order, they'll put on firmware that lets you have up to 12 strings in an open tuning and comes with Newman offsets. They also sent Emmons/Newman C6 settings with it and a PDF tuning guide for pedal steel.
Just now seeing these recent{and not so recent} comments. I never did follow up with the presets for this tuner. Shortly after getting it, I decided to tune the Es straight up on the tuner with pedals down, and tune the rest by ear. It was also around this time that I started using NYXL strings, which are very stable. I've been very happy with them and the recent tuning method.
