Guys,
Another attempt at a creating a tab… one of my favorite intros. Every time I look at this thing, I find another error or something else to tweak, but it ought to be pretty close to the recording. As always, I’m pretty new to this, but am looking for advice and corrections. I have to say that this is one song that I would love to tab out in its entirety. Maybe in another lifetime!
For the sake of convenience, here is the URL for the song on YouTube…

Was about halfway through this, using another YouTube video for info, but discovered that the fellow was playing the song in G rather than F, so I had to transpose everything down a step. Just for reference, the URL to that video is…

I changed the way I rendered the tab, and have included a score to indicate the rhythms, and what I am actually hearing on the record, etc.
Anyway, here it is. Have fun and let me know of any suggestions you might have.

For what it's worth...
Our 4-piece band doesn't have a lead guitar, steel has to pick up the last part of this kick-off.
Here's how I do it...for what it's worth.
I'm not much of a 'tabber' and the timing on this kick-off is critical and difficult to "tab".
Just listen to the original recording and mimic the timing..particularly the third string '"pushes'. This works for me.
This break is in "G" and continues from Mike's tab Bar #5 through Bar #8 (Mike's original tab is in "F"). To transpose to "F", just move the lick to the 8th fret.
It's a fun lick to do. Corrections and comments, welcome.
