New album out with The Country Side of Harmonica Sam

Post by Johan Bandling Melin »

Hi folks,

three weeks ago we released our second album 'A Drink After Midnight' on El Toro records and we are very happy with how it turned out! So if you, like us, are a sucker for more of a traditional style of country music feel free to check it out!

We also recorded a live video for the title track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGEZIiZWuyk

There's more info on our website (like for an example how to get hold of a copy).

Thanks,

That's the best retro cover I have ever seen – looks more 60s than anything that was published way back then! Whoever designed it is a true master of his or her craft.

And it sounds just as good!

Just ordered it! Great sound and great music! Traditional Country is alive and well!

Where is Uncle Leo J. Eiffert when you need him?

Keep up the good work!

The genius behind the cover is Chris Wilkinson. A British gentleman nowadays living in California. He's also a great guitar player and used to play a lot with the great country/rockabilly/hillbilly-singer Charlie Thompson.

Check him out at http://stuffbycw.blogspot.se

And here's some Charlie Thompson with Chris on guitar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX7tWWUAaEc

It's a Permanent from 1964 on the cover but on our first album Peter played an early 70's The Professional.
