Remember When.

Post by Bill Sutton »

This is the hardest song I ever tried to play. Lloyd Green is A "Musical Genius" No one can play music the way Lloyd can. I hope you like my cover of Lloyd Green's Remember When.

Unless you are Lloyd himself, I don’t think that could be done any better Bill.

What a great rendition. You did total justice to the song. Loved what you did and as Dale said Lloyd would be proud.

Thank you Tim...Dale...Jeff...Carl...Mtulbert...Ron...John...Fred...Jan...Roger...and...Billy...For your nice comments. I will try to do it better next time...I made a lot of mistakes...and I was a little out of tune. I used some of Jan Jonsson Tab for this song...but I did my own licks as well. Jan has some great tab for this song...I highly Recommend it...He has tab for other great Lloyd Green songs too...Check them out

Hey Bob, I just contacted Jan about his tab earlier today based on Bill's recommendation and great playing. Go to Jan's post on this thread and click on "PM" and send him a private message. He'll be happy to give you the info on his Lloyd Green tab. :)

Wow! is all I can add to all of the other comments. Another beautiful performance.
I have the tab of LLoyd's break on the record and I struggle with that. Did you change your copedent at all for this song?

Thanks again for sharing this with us. Your first version of 'Making Plans' is one of my favorite songs to play. I wonder if you could possibly post 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' again. I loved your version and would like to learn it.
Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill...hope you are doing good. I will do Over the rainbow again for you...real soon. I did not change my set up for this song...it's the same that it's always been. Thank's for the nice word's. Take care.

+1 on your tone, Bill. Wow! That is just outstanding! I realize tone is mostly in the hands, but I would be curious to know what electronics and effects you were using.

I just received Jan Jonsson's tab. I can't say enough about how well it is done. It even includes the musical notation.
Thanks Jan for the fine job.
