I like mine. I have always heard a certain tome in my mind, that I was never able to find on any other amp. The Quilter comes closest.
The tremolo circuit seems unnecessary, but I found a couple of uses for it. It's a nice effect when playing single lines on the bass strings.
The one thing I would change is the powered effects loop. It's set at 9 volts, but Tom Bradshaw's reso pedal and I believe the Goodrich Match-bro use 18. I'd like to see the output switchable between 9 and 18.
I mentioned this in the thread about Tom's pedal. _________________ Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.

David, I use the Steelaire head into an old Peavy Nashville 400 cab fitted with Telonics. 15 speaker, or into a cab fitted with a 12inch Sica speaker. It sounds superb through either cab , or if playing really big venue can use both, excellent string separation. If buying from US, it requires a very minor mod , to do with stopping noise on U.K./Europe power supply, but if buying in U.K./Europe it is already done.Agree with Mike, do not know why tremolo fitted, but amp has great tone and volume. You can get the combo, combo pro(removable amp head), or as I have the rack size head, all are lightweight.
