You Don't Know Me (Alison Krauss)

Post by John A. Russell »

Hey All

I thought "Don't Close Your Eyes", would be the last tab before having to stop, due to my op, but Nick, asked for "You Don't Know Me", Allison Krauss.

I hate to make an excuse and say, can it wait for a few weeks. So here it is. I rushed it through for you Nick.

It's a lovely melody and I enjoyed working on it.

I will be away from my PC till Wednesday Next Week. So anyone else wanting to have this, will need to be patient, but you can send in your requests here and I will get to them then.

Thanks as always for your encouragement,

J.R.

:whoa: It doesn't get much better than this!

John asked me for a tab suggestion and I couldn't think of a better tune than this. John's tabs are a real treat and this one gives an insight into how Mike Johnson approached this tune on the 'Windy City' CD. Mike's playing and tone are as good as it gets and this tune perfectly showcases his awesome talent.
Thank you John for all you do to keep us inspired to improve. Best of luck with the op - let us know how you're doing.

Alison Krauss - pretty much my favorite singer.

I've seen Union Station live about 10 times and saw her tour with Robert Plant.

One of my favorite Allison Kraus tunes. I love the way John lays out his tablature as close as possible to the wording at the bottom of the tab. Thanks again John for your help. Hope your recovery is fast and painless.

Received mine today and as usual they are great, thank you so much John. Don't know how John finds the time to do these tabs but so thankful that he does. My thoughts and prayers are with him for his upcoming surgery.

Thank you John. As usual, your tab is outstanding. I tried to write tab for
this song a few months ago but my results we're not nearly as good. I'm
anxiously looking forward to your next tablature.
