Johnny Oakley's New Justice Pro Lite~New Pictures

Post by Fred Justice »

Johnny doesn't post on the Forum, so he gave me permission to show off his new Pro Lite for him.
Johnny and wife Lee are driving over from Farmington NM. tomorrow to pick up his new baby.
We'll get the Pro Lite all dialed in, then Troy Porter is coming down from Globe and the three of us will have us a little jam time together. :D
Here are some pictures of Johnny's new Pro Lite.

That reddish colour looks sharp. Beautiful instrument. From experience, I'm sure he'll love it.

I LOVE that color, Fred. What's it called and who offers it?

Kyle, you really make this old man feel good. God bless you my friend. Say hello to everyone at MSA for me.
Thank you Greg C.
John, its called Red Gus Burl, I get it from my warehouse Lady in Las Veges.
I've built around 9 or 10 guitars in that covering.
I'm glad you all like it.

Indeed it does Paddy, Bruce called to ask where I was getting that material, and of course I gave him the info.

My Justice Pro Lite was delivered a few weeks ago, didn't get a chance to pick it up in person since I'm on the Southern Coast of Maine. During the whole process, I'm new to PSG but not to music, I felt like I was in Fred's shop, great guy to work with and "work" is the wrong word. Having someone build you a custom instrument is a joy only musicians can understand, this is my third custom in the past 25 years after a Dick DeNeve dobro and a Matt Arcara openback banjo. Fred Justice is right up there with these guys, awsome builders.
Thanks again Fred,
Bruce
