Hi steelers.
I wanted to incorporate a FX pedal side stand into my folding piano/PS bench. I like my gear to fit onto one two-wheel dolly, so it all had to break down small and light.
I used extruded angle aluminum, skookum velcro, and a piece of marine ply.
The 3/4" aluminum struts slide into the square steel tubes of the bench. The ply bed comes off and fits into a little gear suitcase.
There is enough room on the ply bed for six pedals- plenty.
Now my tuning pedal and everything else is within arm's reach, and it keeps my gear off gross bar room floors (Yuck!)

Great idea, Alan. Must build one for myself once my new shop is up and running. _________________ Excel Superb U12, MIJ Squier tele, modified Deluxe Reverb RI, Cube 80XL, self built acoustics & mandolins |
