8 string Clinesmith SOLD

Post by David Ball »

I'm downsizing and have a lot of stuff I need to put in the hands of others. This is a Clinesmith "plank" style S8 guitar that I would never sell, except I recently got a S10 version of the same guitar from Todd. Long scale, fairly narrow string spacing. A little bit of pick chipping in the black paint, but not bad. Otherwise excellent condition. Bigsby/Clinesmith pickup with hand rest. Blue Heron gigbag. Really nice guitar. $1000 plus shipping. USA only. Sorry.

Can you send actual string spacing at the bridge and nut?
Does it have leg sockets?
Thanks

Spacing at the bridge is 2 7/16 total. At the nut it is 2 1/32. There aren't any leg sockets--I've been using a Deluxe 34 universal stand which works very nicely.

What a bargain on a fantastic guitar.
Mostly Pre-1970 guitars.

Even in the downsizing mode, I'd be more than happy to keep this guitar. I could easily see seller's remorse anyway.
But, I'll bump it up one last time.
