Hey B.J.
Beautiful steel
So, what’s the story. Do you like playing it?
Why, and What,.. is that leather? How old is it?
Thanks for posting pics! Beautiful. Jeppe
I’ld say your guitar belongs in Dave Allens Zum Gallery!!!
[This message was edited by Jeppe Grangaard on 05 April 2005 at 11:49 AM.]

[This message was edited by Jeppe Grangaard on 05 April 2005 at 12:13 PM.]

Wow-does it ever! I love the "tooled" pad look..
May I add it to my Zum Page?

Thanks Mr. Grangaard, It has a greast sound and the action was setup by Ted Hughes and J.L Duncan, and it can't get any smoother then it is right now,It is a Late 2004 Model.
Why? If your talking about the pad, every SD-10 I have ever seen or heard has the same ole black pad, So, I decide to have mine to match the steel for a change. and to me it just look's better, I have a friend that's gonna change his Emmons SD-10 over to the same as mine with the carved look only it will be black .
God Bless

Mr.Baucum, You are so right and I have given that some thought, I have two Evans SE-200 and we have been talking it over with a friend of mine, and he may even re-do his Peaveys also.
Mr. Schmitt, I havent seen any other SD-10'S with that tooled leather look on their pads, But, thats not to say there isnt some, But it won't suprise me to see some from now on coming out of the factory with the tooled leather looking pad, inplace of the tolex there useing now.

That looks like the "tooled-look" tolex that some custom amp builders are featuring as an option for their amps.. I know for a fact the Doug Sewell in Arlington offers that as one of the coverings for his amps..
Really good looking guitar! Looks alot better then the typical boring black vinyl.. Bet it sounds like a dream!

It wouldnt suprise me to see some of the steel builders start useing the tooled leather look as another option..
And it only took about 40 minutes to do the change over and I had it set up and playing again.
And you can order a small section of the carved looking tolex, a half of a yard , and the width of that is 51" wide, So the cost is less then $15.00 even with the shipping..
God Bless
