I'm going to try to run this down. I bet someone took real walnut and made a dual pro body. It must wiegh a ton!

I think Jody Carver said here that some of the early Dual Pros were real Walnut. That would be the 1940s ones w/boxcar pickups. I had one years ago, and it was very heavy and had no legs. I don't know what kind of wood it was, but it could have been real Walnut because it was about as heavy as a piece of oak! I do remember that it had no legs. Some came from the factory like that. Heavy as h@ll and no legs! What were they thinking?
