Fender Stringmaster T8 Triple Neck 1957

Post by Gerard Vendrig »

Hi there, I have a 22.5" scale Fender Triple Neck Stringmaster. The marking under the tuner plate says '9 57'. Seems September 1957.

Everything is original, besides the strings, currently 6 attached on each instead of 8.

The condition is quite neat: the fretboard, bridge cover, pickup and rotary pickup blender control and also the tuner plates.

The chrome has a sincere shine and polished it before I took the pictures. The slight wear is visible on the wooden body.

It's not in mint/excellent condition, indeed. Nevertheless I would describe this as a fine piece of 50's art in a very good condition.

*one small black cap at the end of one leg and the handle of the box are missing, easily fixable

Gerard,
That steel came into the world the same year and month that I did! I would think you'd be able to find a European buyer for it, it's a gem and reasonably priced. Good luck!
