Emmons fretboards, pedal bar stickers, tuning nuts

Post by Jerry Roller »

These fretboards are produced by Tom Bradshaw. They are available in black with white lines or white with black lines, both styles have the colored fret markers. Mr Bradshaw would like to know if there is enough demand for 12 string boards so if you have such a need please let me know. He will produce them if there is enough need. If you need fretboards for your Emmons please email me at rollermusic@cox.net
These beautiful boards have adhesive on back and Tom has produced an Installation Instruction that will be included with each purchase.

Tuning nuts 60 for $23.50 free postage. Red tuning nuts can be substituted in limited numbers @ .10 each additional. They are great for compensator identification.

Check it all out closely, you might miss something!
Thanks
Jerry

I posted in Tom's thread that I would like to see him make 12 string Emmons fretboards. I still have one new set that I haven't put on yet, but they were ridiculously expensive from Emmons.

Jim, if we come up with at least 30 needs for 12 string boards Tom will have a supply of them made at a price of $29.00 each. I have 10 string boards in stock and hopefully the demand will be enough that we can provide 12 string boards. I can remember you needing them over 10 years ago and I wad unable to provide them. Can I put you down for two 12 string boards?
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry, I wish I could say yes, but the fretboards I have on now are still "acceptable" and my spare set are perfect NOS. I think they'll last longer than I will. :\

Jim, good to hear from you. It's been too long since I got to meet and visit with you at the Texas show. I hope all is well with you. Let me know if you should decide that you would like some 12 string boards. They are very reasonably priced.

Fretboards

Great looking fretboards. If your Emmons has worn boards these can really spruce it up. I also have a few pedal board stickers for Emmons.

Mike, they are printed on Lexan, appear to be same thickness as original boards. I just put a pair on a SKH for a customer and they look just like the original boards on the guitar.

Hi Jerry,
According to Tom's web page, his FB's measure 3.5" at the 24th fret. Mine is only 3 3/8" at the very end. If you remember, I have Rex Blevens, blue SKH and it seems to me the FB can't be any wider. I'm already to the edge of the finger board. Can you check and post the measurements of your Emmons fretboard for me? Thx Ron

Ron, here are photos of a SKH that I am just finishing rebuilding. The fretboards are the Tom Bradshaw boards. Perfect fit and look like originals. Perfect in every way.

I could definitely use (2) 12 string fretboards myself. I was asking about them a year ago and couldn't find any.

Dan, if we could come up with orders for 30 twelve string boards it would be feasable for Mr Bradshaw to have the artwork set up to make them. So, if anyone would like one or more twelve string boards please let us know here. I can't list price here but I can tell you price would be same as the ten string and very reasonable. Email me for price if interested.
Thanks,
Jerry

I have an '82 Emmons S12U PP here but it has the silver-background fretboard.
You can put me down for a 12-string fretboard, though.
I may need one someday.

At those prices I almost wish I needed parts. Been saying it for years. No better person or vendor to deal with than Jerry. Also and excellent pedal steel guitar tech and repair man. And did I mention his prices are always more then reasonable? This includes instruments and amps he sometimes offers for sale.
