John, I can't pass up another one of your great tabs, especially if it is a David Hartley rendition. My collection of your tabs is growing and priceless to me. I would love to have this one also, if you would be so kind to send it to me.

Thank you again for what you do for this Forum.

WOW! This is my first tab I have received from John and I must say bravo! I haven't even got to play it yet but the effort he put into this is incredible. You can tell the guy is an engineer just by the meticulous attention to detail he put forth. Thanks again John! I look forward to learning this song and maybe a few more from you.

I just got my copy of "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" printed out, and will enjoy playing it on my Williams (that has the second string whole step lower) when IT arrives soon!

John, I would love a copy of "Sing Me Back Home" when you get a chance.
Thanks,
Dave

Sing Me Back Home

A major shout out to John Russell for tabbing David Hartley's "Sing Me Back Home". TONS AND TONS of time was put into this lengthy tab and it will test whether or not I have "attention deficit" disorder.

David performs this on YouTube with touch, tone and feeling as he does this with all his videos. He goes by the user name DAVEPEDALSTEEL
Here is the link

I would recommend steelers who are not aware of these guys to dial them in.

Thanks to you both. Stevet

A Masterclass! To have John's amazing tab and David's great video side by side - This is as good as it gets!
Anyone who ever studied a 'classical' instrument will remember 'Etudes' - studies - which would often be something one had to grit one's teeth and get through - well, this study is an absolute joy. And, as always with John's tab, much to be learned. I love particularly the counterpoint on the first line of the last page - beautiful.
Thank you John. (And David!)
