Usually I can't remember if i'm in my 70's or my 90's.
I've had 2 heart operations, a stroke, hernias, cataracts, arthritis, poor circulation,
blackouts, and memory loss.
Some days I have no feeling in my hands or feet. But......thank God I still have my drivers license!

HOW OLD WOULD YOU BE IF YOU DIDN,T KNOW HOW OLD YOU WERE?
Its never too late to climb the next step or turn the next corner in life.
My hat off to all the great folks on this forum I just found . It encouraged me to buy my first SD 10 GFI Ultra and get started. I waited all these years AFTER seeing Tex Ritter and his band play years ago when I was a child..

I'm 57 and started playing pedal steel about 2 years ago. It's true that most players are older, but I'm pretty gratified to have inspired two 30-somethings to pick up pedal steel in the past few months, one of whom is a mom of 4 boys. They (or their spouses) text me videos of them practicing every so often.
