Sounds great Brett! The fiddle man I played with in a bluegrass band in 1972, introduced me to this album. Being familiar with Vassar Clements, Chalker played way outside the box too! |

Thanks John! I know what I'm playing isn't right, but it's getting close. If anyone has any tips about the last part of my video I'd love to hear it. I'm sure what he's doing there is in several of yalls wheelhouses. In fact if y'all play any arrangement off this record, I'd gladly pay for some tab or something. There seems to be a real lack of Curly Chalker material on here. _________________ www.facebook.com/brettrobinsonmusic

Mike Sweeney " threatened"to put out a "Chalkeresque" video ten years ago but got side-tracked. He and Johnny Cox knew CC and know the style well. Check out CC's copedant and you'll see some items that may help, like his seventh pedal lowers E-D + C-B! |
