Anybody know who played with Allison on last night's Late Night Show? Also would like to know who plays the Tele. I did find out that Matt Rollings is on piano and Barry Bales, Allison's regular Union Station bass player on bass. Great performance by all.

I've been told from another social media site that the steel player is Bobby Terry, Tele player is James Mitchell and Tim Crouch is on bass. _________________ www.facebook.com/countrydaveharmonson |

I think that's Barry Bales on upright bass. Matt Rollings on piano. Haven't seen him in a while. |

Definitely Bobby Terry, he's an old friend of mine. _________________ Rittenberry Prestige(2) |

Consensus says it's Barry Bales on bass, James Mitchell on the Tele, Matt Rollings on piano and Bobby Terry on steel. Father and daughter from the Cox family on harmonies. Not sure of their names. Great playing and singing. _________________ www.facebook.com/countrydaveharmonson |

We have the dreaded two threads on the same subject syndrome. Moderators, is there a way to roll both into one thread? I've seen it done on other forums. This gets a little frustrating when it happens on the SGF. But this is nothing. When Buddy Emmons passed away there were at minimum a dozen threads going at the same time.
Check out the other thread Dave, it is "senior" to yours - Brint started it this morning a half hour prior to this one.

The members from the Cox family on the TV performance (there are five siblings) are brother Sidney and sister Suzanne. The patriarch of that group was Willard Cox Sr. I am not sure if he is still alive, but he had been living in a nursing home for a number of years.
Alison has been close to the Cox Family for decades. And she helped them finish a long lost album several years ago that began in the mid '90s, which had been shelved due to family tragedies. It's a good one. _________________ Mark |
