Emmons D-10, 8&7

Post by Pat Severs »

Mid 70's D-10 PP, 8&7, excellent condition, total Mike Cass rebuild underneath, with all of Mike's latest push pull innovations, such as the RKL raising 1&2, lowering 6, with a perfect half stop on the RKR 2nd string lower, plus lowering 9. All knee levers have short travel with positive stops. The steel is in almost new condition with a bit of wear on the neck tops near the pickups. No wear on the changer, no buzzes or zings. Emmons setup, E's on the left, LKV lowers 5 a whole tone. Plays like butter, sounds like a PP should. I have too many steels, I'm not touring or doing TV work anymore, so it's time to downsize. $3600.00 FIRM plus shipping.

That's true, Tommy!

I own one of Pat's old Emmons, and it's a great guitar. He takes care of his stuff.

Mike Cass definitely knows how to add a multitude of modern changes to these old Push Pulls

Mike did two of mine and I've never had a problem with either.

Thanks for all the kind words! Kyle, whatever you do, don't play this guitar! Tommy, love your work on the new Jim Lauderdale album! Great playing and production.
