We had a great turn out of musicians for the Sunday meeting/jam. No featured player this time. On steel, we had Leon Miller, Randy Boyd, steel, harmonica, and vocals, Mark Everson on steel, fiddle, and vocals, Larry Schoppe on bass and vocals, Patty Phelps, bass and vocals, Doug Elverud, rhythm guitar and vocals, Willie Funderbird, on vocals, Billy Phelps on lead guitar, vocals, and drum machine, and Jim Saunders, rhythm guitar. My original post misspelled Willie Funderbird's name. My apology to Willie, who, BTW, is a great singer.
Notice: There will be no meeting in March due to the Dallas Steel Guitar Convention. Next meeting in April.

South Texas? Katy is over 300 miles northeast of here, about a 5 hour drive! _________________ Lee, from South Texas - Down On The Rio Grande
There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

Lee, you have a point, but, I guess it's a matter of perspective. We, here, consider Dallas north country, northeast, actually. The eastern border is more east than McAllen, though, granted, not as far south. And, what the heck, I didn't name it either. Come see us. Gas is pretty cheap now. |

Isn't/wasn't it known as the "SE Steel Guitar Meet."
I think if you look back at previous announcements it is "South East." |

I edited the title of this post. I mistakenly left of the "East" in South East. Sorry, Lee and Tom. And, thanks for correcting me. |
