I built a B-bender Tele with an oil & wax finished cherry body. It sounded OK, but I feel swaph ash and alder would have been even better. It was very beautiful though, and the cherry wood is a dream to work on.

OK guys,been considering for awhile,so much talk of cabinet drop ect.how about STEAL FOR STEEL?? sure its heavy,but if used right would be fine. angle iron frame, using bent plate and chromed for endplates. could be very thin compared to alum. makes sense to me.and i can just hear it talking now. sustain could go on forever. cutouts of horses,roosters ect. on the fronts. sounds like a steel of the future to me.
