I'm certainly behind the times in discovering this beautiful song. But even after 2 years of making the files available to us, Andy had the zip file to me the next day.

I can't say enough good things about Andy and his support of all of us here on the forum.

Many thanks to you, my friend!

Girl in the Glass

Post by Bill Joerger »

Andy,
Before getting your track, I had to settle for just playing along with Mike over his recording. But now I have the pleasure of knowing what I really sound like.
Anyway, I've gone to the trouble of hand writing the tab out for my playing of "The Girl in the Glass" and will email it to you in appreciation of all your work and generosity.
If you listen carefully to Mike's recording and follow along with my tab, I think your going to find yourself sounding pretty good against your track. The only thing I changed a bit was the last couple bars of the ending. But it still sounds much the same and works out in timing.
Keep up the good work,
-Bill Joerger

Hey Andy,
I sent you an email as well. I only need the track if you please. I've already picked out the song and I'm going to perform it next week at the Phoenix show. I've only discovered it lately as well. But it's a very nice tune. Thanks in advance for the track.

Billy Easton who is president of the Southwest Steel Guitar Association has a great CD with it on with a lot of other good song. He has a great style and would recommend contacting him and getting a copy. Also has backup CD for all the songs on the CD.
