What is the recommended sring to pick up spacing for BL 710's

Andy,Bill Lawrence told me that 1/8" on the treble side and 3/16" was a good starting point.

I have 710's on my Franklin. I set the at a "loose" 3/16" and they work great. Mr.Franklin looked at it and told me I had them at the proper distance.

I used a long 3/16 allen wrent and laid it across the pickup and then adjusted the 1st string side and then the 10th string side for the "loose" 3/16.

Any closer than 3/16-1/4" on my push pull and they tend to overdrive a bit. I pick fairly hard too..
