Anyone ever try the BL 900 series sidewinder
pickup in their guitar?
Any and all thoughts appreciated.

These pups seem to accentuate the low-mid ranges. I had them on a Zum, and never could get them give me really clean highs without being too thin. I went back to single coils (True Tone's) and all is well.

I've got 'em on my D10 Fessy and I love 'em. I tried 710's,10-1,Emmons single coil,TT and for me , these were the winners. Of course YMMV.

Lawrence 910's are the pickups that have spent the most time on my Mullen.

I heard some of the early proto-types.
They had a real balanced tone pallet
and had a very pleasing attack characteristic.
Almost like it was through a high quality compressor.
These are a revival of the origonal "FireBird" pick-up also designed by Bill.
