For you guys interested in amplifiers here is one of my amps I call the Tremendous Reverb. It is based off the world famous Princeton Reverb. I have built many of these for steel players and guitar players alike. Out of all the stuff I build these are my all time favorite amp... You can see way more pictures at p2pamps.com

I certainly hope the sound of your amps is better than the sound on your video clips---very hard to understand.

Looks good Mike, the Hoffman style boards are nice but I seem to get lost on those so I stick to old style boards.

As fas as the sound of my amps go, that clip was really just showing the guts of the amp and not meant to be a sound clip. I burn them in with an ipod just playing anything. "Steven Paris" if you want to see more sound clips of completed amps check out my Youtube channel.

Merry Christmas

(Mark Fowler) I like the Hoffman boards for some things but like you I mostly use eyelets on Fender style amps. What I really love is all the G10 stuff Doug Hoffman sells. I build a ton of AB763 amps and always use G10 eyelet boards. The turret boards are the same schematic just a different layout as you know.

Why the preference for eyelets instead of turrets? Can you get either style with G10?

Yeah you can get either eyelets or turrets. I like doing eyelets on AB763 circuits as most techs know that layout and also lots of guys like doing their own mods. That layout makes it easier down the road.

On my Princeton style amps and Marshalls I do turrets cause I like the layout better. the bias adjustment is a nice touch as the orig PR doesn't have that as you probably already know. I can do either so it depends on each amps really...

Thanks for your comments...

Mike
