Very cool, Dave...I'm digging that version of "The Losin' End" as well. _________________ Emmons Push Pull, BMI, Session 400, Home of the Slimcaster Tele. |

Hey Dave,
That Sho-Bud sounds great in this setting. Your laid back playing adds so much to the song. Besides the Sho-Bud Pro I (?), what were you using?
I wonder why Neil Young doesn't have steel in his live gigs. It certainly adds a lot to the mix. Perhaps he does, but I've not seen any YouTube videos (yet) with steel on it. Maybe he'll be calling you after listening to these covers!
ONE COMPLAINT: Tell the videographer to get more close-ups of the steel guitar player in action!
Looking forward to more...

Thanks so much Don. Ben Keith played with Neil until his passing and can be seen on a lot of live youtube videos. Neil also did his more rocked out Crazy Horse sets without steel.
On this show I was playing through a TC Electronic BH 250 bass amp head into a 15" Sica with Boss RV3 in a reverb mode.
I'll have to tip the videographer better on the next show _________________ www.facebook.com/countrydaveharmonson |
