I'm now playing a red and gold GFI Ultra D-10 with eight pedals and six knee levers and before that, I played a 1974 student model Emmons S-10 with three pedals and one knee lever. Both steels use the Emmons setup. I use a Goodrich volume pedal and I'm currently using a Peavey Nashville 112 amplifier. I "torture" a Kline S-12 universal (keyless) into a TransTubeFex to a PV Nashville 400. I spent 10 years, $$$$$ and went through every brand of guitars (some several times) looking for this one.

Emmons LeGrande II and Push/pull. Soon to get a new Performance Guitar. Use Evans Fet 500 Lv with JBL K-130 and a 76 Session 400 with the Brad Sarno cap upgrade kit. If you have a Session 400, you don't know what your missing by not doing the cap upgrade. This amp sounds amazing!!
