The Old Rugged Cross
Hey All
I have been asked by various Members to do tabs. I have just finished this one. I sent it out to some steelers to test for me and I hope it is error free.
I have tried to do a totally new arrangement, not based on any other versions.
Anyone wanting a copy, send me a PM, with your email address and I will send it to you.
I would like to thank all of you who have given me great encouragement in allowing me to send you my stuff. As you know, I am little more than a novice on the PSG, even after 14 years of "Pickin'"
Thanks again to Bob, for making all this possible.
Kind Regards
JR (UK)

I have this tab and several others that John has composed and
they are really fantastic. Not easy for beginners, but if you take
the time to work with them you will be rewarded and can learn
some beautiful sounds you may not even be familiar with.
John is a fist class writer of tabs as well as great songs that are
recorded by the Nashville Pros. He's also a very good steel player.

The Old Rugged Cross - another fine tab from John. His tabs are always accurate, easy to read (beautifully laid out) and a pleasure to play.
thanks John for all you do to help us novices make sense of the pedl steel guitar.

John, thank you again for a really great tab with a new and beautiful arrangement of an old standard hymn. It plays smoothly, the voicings and harmonies are impressive. Well done.

I have several of John's excellent tabs and I just love the clarity and font size. This makes for easy learning especially for my old eyes. Thanks a million for your generosity to our community John.
