Just Ordered a Blue/Black ZumSteel Encore from Doug Earnest

Post by Mike Wenger »

Just pulled the trigger on this guitar today. Saw a picture of one of these on the Forum here. Will be difficult to wait until next June, but that's what I get for not ordering it earlier, right?!? In the meantime I'd like to find someone near Raleigh, NC that I can pay for lessons on their instrument. Off to the races. I've wanted to do this for MANY years.

Go Mike. You won't regret it.
I recently took delivery of a new steel guitar from Bent Romnes - wow! New guitars are something else!!
June will come soon enough.

Wow, June !! That long of a wait would crush me, but it's worth it. My Stage 1 is such a nice guitar, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the Encore.

Hi Mike,

Doug builds a terrific steel guitar. Compact, lightweight, great value. Make no mistake, the Encore is a pro guitar. Your's will arrive wth a lifetime of music waiting to be discovered.

Welcome to the madness. It's a "nice little hobby."

Doug makes great guitars and is a real gentleman to deal with. I had a student that bought a Stage One a few years ago. She moved away and quit playing. She had no problem selling the guitar through the Forum. I recently bought two volume pedals from Doug and I received them in just a few days.

Congrats!
I bought the same guitar (different color) last year. It's a phenomenal instrument that my teacher constantly praises and threatens to buy.

Definitely worth the wait.
