Folks, if you haven't been to one of these shows before, make plans now to attend. The two headliners this year, Buck Reid and Cindy Cashdollar, will knock your socks off. Both are amazing players. The band is top notch and there is always interesting steel related merchandise for sale at tables around the edge of the room. This is the best yearly show in the northeast.

Hello Bob M.! Great to see you post and "Hello". Congratulations on another show.
I played "Whiter Shade of Pale" at an Armonk show, in the 80's.
I played he chords on the E9th and played the melody on the C6th with an E-bow.
Especially, with Buddy being there, I was a nervous wreck.
I remember be blown away by Jimmy Roule and guitarist, Van Manakas.

I spoke with John B. about going to the show.
Most likely John, Jim & I will go "down country" together.
I'm probably going to bring my Tapper steel down for a little show and tell.
(note the raised fretboard and second compensated bridge for fretting in tune)
Looking forward to it!

That Tapper steel looks cool, if not complicated. Just spoke with Buck and we are all excited to see it. Looking forward to a fun trip down and back as well Chris.
Steel guitar junkies: There are still openings to sign up for Buck's pedal steel instructional class being held Saturday Nov. 5, a day ahead of the PSGA show. A jam is planned. Come join us to watch, listen and play.

This weekend!!!! This weekend!!!!
If you love steel guitar, please, please don't miss the PSGA's Gala 43rd Show!
It's the best event in the northeast and it only comes once a year, folks.
Show up and listen to some great steel playing and support this GREAT CLUB!
And, don't forget the Piedmont Club on Saturday. Buck Reid is giving a seminar in the afternoon and that night, we'll be treated to some fine music by Buck, Jeff DeMaio and Gunsmoke and other special guests.
Make sure to attend these fine events.

I'll second that emotion, John. It's always a great pleasure and privilege to play with the PSGA band. Steve, Van, Larry and Fooch did an awesome job all day. Thanks, guys!
And Stu, I was looking for you afterwards. Sorry you felt you needed to leave early but I hope you had a safe trip back home. It was great to see you again, my friend, and thanks for your nice comment on my set. (And for the generous gift of the phaser pedal. Hope it sounded okay out there!)
