The absolute best tool for this is a program called Neck Diagrams. I bought it a few years ago and it is great. I used it to write a book. Well worth the money.

Another way to save tunings/chords or custom tunings at
www.UniversalChordMapper.com is to:

- right-click on the page/chart (Firefox)
- select "Save Page As"
- select a download folder
- designate a unique file name that best describes the tuning, chord, etc.
- click save to download the page/chart

Now you can open the saved page/chart in your browser from its download location. You will not be able to edit this saved page as the controls will not work, but at least you can save your custom tunings for future reference.

Also, you can capture a screenshot and crop/rename/edit the image as desired, as shown below...
