My New Little Walter Paul Franklin "89"

Post by Jason Dunkle »

Hey Guys,

I am proud to announce that I'm the newest member of the Little Walter family! This is my new Paul Franklin signature 100 watt "89" with a 112L cabinet loaded with a Travis Toy speaker. It looks stunning! Phil did a great job on it! I can't wait to plug in and mash those pedals! I am going to see Vince Gill on 10/23 in Warren, OH. I'm really hoping that I will get to meet Paul. He is my favorite player. Hope you all like the amp.

Jason

Wow! When and where was that pic taken? Don't let Paul Sr. see that.

Got to met Jason this past weekend, at a steel guitar jam here in north west PA. He is one nice young man, and is doing very good on the steel.

Is this the same Paul Franklin, that was called Paul Franklin Jr. in the 80's and 90's. My friend says it isn't and there never was a Paul Franklin Jr. I say there was because Jeff Newman had many picture of him and talked about him, many times, for the good.

Speaker

Post by Ed Gamble »

I'm thinking about getting one of those amps. I'm sort of undecided about what speaker cabinet to get with it. I see you have a 1x12, but they also have a 15" and a 2x12. I'm leaning towards a single 12 because I am getting too old to tote heavy gear. Is your cabinet open or closed back?

Ed you should try one with both a fifteen and a twelve. You are not too far from Phil I see. I would have, but is a 17 hour drive for me. Ultimately I'm very pleased with my 89 with a Telonics 15
