Does anyone do this? Could you eliminate the
3rd pedal change and free it up to do other things like half step down 3rd and 6th? |

Hey Chuck, a lot of folks do that change, I think even b0b does it on his guitar. If you lower the 3rd and 6th a half tone though it should be on pedal one and move your A & B pedals to the 2nd and 3rd slot as you get more options by having those lowers next to your A pedal.........JH

| Chuck, putting a whole raise 4th string on a knee lever is fairly common. I had it on LKR for 23 years and went back to the more common 3rd pedal set up to free up knee levers. It's all personal preferences. Try it. If you don't like it, change it back. At least with modern guitars you can experiment if you desire. In the old permanent Sho-Bud days it was pretty hard to make changes. |

| Unfortunately, I do raise the 4th string on a second LKL and I still keep the C pedal because the two just aren't the same but I consider each one keepers. (With a gun to my head I'd lose the lever before losing the C pedal). This is the kind of thing that gives me my U-12 7+8. (Could I play a 3+4? Sure! Can I add another lever? Why not?) |

I have it on LKV.
If I had it to do over, I'd learn to use the C pedal correctly and put the 5th string lower (B to A#) on my vertical lever. I've dug a pretty deep hole for myself with that lever. Too late in life to crawl out of it now. Learn from my mistake.

I don't use this pull...but when playing a friends Mullen it seems I can't feel the raise
I need for a diminished chord and this must be right on to sound good.
Also the travel to F# isn't as fast as the C pedal so it really isn't quite the same . |
