Tone Block direct out..not working

Post by Dennis Detweiler »

I get no signal out of the balanced direct out unless I unplug from the speaker input? I can't get a signal from both outputs at the same time? I don't think it should operate that way. Anyone have that same problem?
I emailed Quilter, but haven't had a response yet.

Just in case you haven't had a chance to get to the email...
(From Pat Quilter)

Hello Dennis

The Direct Out should get a little louder without the speaker but it should work either way and provide a mic-level signal similar to what you would get by miking the speaker. Please confirm that your XLR cable is good (you could check it with a mic) and ensure there are no conflicting grounds on the speaker output signal.

Best regards
