Condition is 8-9 depending on you feelings about very small dings and scratches. e-9 Emmons setup, 4th pedal changes open tuning to E-6. Of course these are easy set up instruments, very quick to change copedents.

I believe it's for a double stop, typically used for 2nd string.

It can also be used for a compensator. Example 5th B to c#
uses separate cross shaft and bellcrank to the 11th string slot.
