Brad Paisley - Ticks (full band cover)

Post by Luke Gallagher »

Hey everyone!

I would love it if you could all check out my new cover. This is particularly special to me as its the first cover I've ever done on the steel. I only had about 1 month of practice so its not perfect but thought i'd share it anyway!

Hope you like it

You did a good job Luke. But I'm afraid you will not find many Brad Paisley fans here, including me. I'm only honest.

Nicely done, Luke! Great band performance and vocals overall. I think when I had one month of experience on the steel I was still learning how to get it out of the case haha! :)

Luke,

I thought you and the rest of the guys did a great job on this song and I for one enjoy Brad Paisley, so don't let some folks opinions stop you from posting other stuff. We all have different tastes in music but regardless it is music even if some don't care for it. Keep up the good work!

Cheers,
Andy

Soulful rendition, fast Paisely style impossible licks and twang and dang on the steel. Yer just missing a Stetson.

Thank you kindly! I will definitely buy one the day i get to Nashville. Here in Australia the country hats are quite different. I think its the flat brim all around compared to the curved.

Luke, great job! Whatever "it" is, you guys have "IT"

Now just get in touch with your "uncle" Tommy Emmanuel and let Him put you in touch with the "right" people. It ain't what you know, sometimes it's who you know. Good Luck.
Music is probably the most "spiritual of mankinds emotions, and when practised with a pure heart, can lead one into the presence of God, who invented it. Lonnie Portwood
