Chord Finder - Web/Tablet/Phone

Post by Savell »

I ran across an old project I had started about 6 or 7 years ago and did not finish. So I gave it a face lift and put it back into action.

It is a very simple 10 string 3x5 Standard Emmons setup.

If it gets enough good responses, I will code it to accept user tunings and pulls.

Give it a go here or you can click on my web button below.

That's pretty slick! On Firefox, I wasn't seeing all of the tool bar at the top, the bottom was cut off. Might need to allow for some vertical pixels for it...

I'd like to see it for user tunings. I play lap and dobro, but with unconventional 6th tunings.

Hey Scott,
Please try again. Not sure about Foxfire. I dont have a machine with that on it for testing.

I have tested the site successfully on IE, Android Pad, iPad, and iPhone.

Maybe some others will chime in.

Jan, I haven't submitted the app to Apple yet. I ran it locally on my phone. I am waiting to see what kind of feedback I get here before investing any more time and money. So far not near enough interest to move forward.

Took me a little bit to figure out, (I’m slow) but once I did, thought it was very cool... the ability to customize different pulls would be extra cool... Could help with my lack of Theory knowledge, where I could actually see where chords are and commit to memory because the pattern would become apparent with a little time.

Hi,
What a great job! You can find tab on most anything but E9 chord positions are a little harder to find. Your hard work for finding chord structures is unique and well appreciated. It is great and really well appreciated. Thank you very much

Tim
