I just lucked into this Creston lap steel yesterday. A month or so ago I went to Creston's shop to help him make a demo for it and I fell in love with the thing. The guitar was sold at the time and the buyer reached out to me for a lesson. He came to my place yesterday for the first lesson and decided that learning lap steel was too daunting a task so he gave it to me in exchange for future guitar lessons. Made my day! The demo hasn't been finished yet but I'll throw it up here when it is. The body is African Mahogany.

Thanks dudes. One of the things I noticed right off the bat was that the lay of the strings felt very natural, as well as the string spacing. I haven't tried it in any other tunings besides C6 but I play a fair amount of open D as well so I'm looking forward to that.
