Joachim, you're right this Lloyd Green trademark lick involves the first string.

To my knowledge Lloyd first recorded it on 'Jukebox Charlie' in 1969. Another great example is this juicy Steve Wariner cut from 2005.

Lloyd slides back and forth on the first string while simultaneously engaging and releasing his LKL.
