Dekley S12 7=9

Post by Thiel Hatt »

I bought this Dekley because I wanted to experiment with the 12 string Universal set-up. I have enjoyed the venture but have concluded that my preference is a double neck ten. I don't play too often so I'm considering parting with it. The instrument plays well and in very dependable. Dekley is a quality instrument as I am sure you are aware. This one is loaded. It has seven floor pedals and nine knee levers. The rkr and the lkl are staggered knee levers. The copedent is based on the Day configuration. I'm suggesting $ 1695.00 and will consider trades. Will consider an S10 or SD10. These instruments are pretty user friendly in the under-carriage. I will consider changing the copedent. Shipping, negotiable.

Thiel, how many raises and lowers are possible with that changer?

The changer is a triple raise / double lower. However there are ways push it beyond that (with some compromise). It's similar to the old Sho-Bud Professional series. method. I did that on one of the strings where I needed a triple lower. It works well but is a bit tempramental to tune, but once there it is very stable

I had several offers on this Guitar and accepted one of them and was told that he would contact me to arrange payment and shipping. There has been no follow up. I had since then told other inquiries than it was already sold. So I am posting again for your consideration.
