Here is a peaceful, laid back rendition of a Thelonious Monk tune featuring vibes and steel guitar. These are the rough tracks, only minimally mixed by me. This is the only tune that I recorded at home, though the vibes and brushes were recorded at another project studio. I used a modded Fender Bronco (small solid state amp).

Thanks for listening and I'm sorry I can't leave it up longer.

Really liked that, Mike. Nice interplay between steel and vibes. You've done a great job of teasing us with with your flash previews. Can't wait for the real deal...

Ralph, I imagine it is at least pretty close to the final product, though I'm sure the engineer's mix will make it sound better. The rest is up to you to listen on a good system!

Superb! I think steel and vibes are a match made in heaven. I actually love how they put vibes over those Jules Ah See recordings. Tom did a great job. (Oh, and you too as usual!)

One of my favorites so far.

Just lovely - first note to last. The vibes are in that sweet spot where the waves are not to fast and not too slow.

Beautiful. Has that long-ago and faraway sound that brings Sol Hoopii to mind.
Yes, nice combination of steel and vibes. Bass sound is just perfect.

My favourite so far, as well. It wouldn't be out of place on the beach or on the bandstand. Downright inspiring!
