A few years ago I purchased a 66 Fender Super Reverb. I contacted Rick Johnson and purchased a 2-10 cabinet from him. It's been a while since I played 6 string so I made a 12 inch baffle and mounted a TT-12 speaker for it.
I have used twins for years now but this Super Reverb sounds killer and is plenty loud enough for anything I need. As a bonus its lighter than my N112 and has that nice Fender tube tone. I've probably played 10 gigs with it and it's a keeper for sure.

That chassis is set up for a 2 ohm resistance. Wanna be pretty careful with your speaker load.

thanks for the suggestion Ken. I'll contact Mercury Magnetics today to get an 8ohm output transformer.

Are you using two 16ohm 10's? You're probably wanting a 4ohm OT for your Super, if your 10's are 8ohm... or you could get two 4ohm 10's and use your original OT.... all this in parallel, of course.

Stephen, buried in the OP was the new speaker assignment: a single TT-12.

Yes, it is a TT-12 8 ohm speaker. A tapped transformer with 4 and 8 would be ideal

Here's a nice Hammond transformer that would fit the bill:
