'' O.S.G.A. '' Ohio Steel Guitar Jam , 2016 .

Post by Gary Preston »

This is news for all the '' steel players '' around Ohio . Mr . Jeff Shaner will be instrumental in starting the jam,s back again . He will have those that will be helping him get it going . We are thankful for that . Jeff would have posted this but hasn't gotten his forum membership up and running yet . So now that this is posted we hope that everyone that reads this will talk among your friends and steel players . They will be at the same place as always . So tell your friends and neighbors to start looking for information on this . Thanks . Gary .

Larry, just a name I came up with. A double standard is meant. Can be taken either way. Just needing a name to pique some curiosity so there it is.

Show

Post by Terry Bethel »

Show, Gary I know you have worked hard to keep this going. I know I did. I hope the guys you have now will work as hard as you did. i would love to come play your show, however it is just a little to far. Suggestion try and get Mike Sigler to play, he lives not too far from there. Again I wish i could

Wish I could make it Jeff. I know I told you some time back when you called me that I would try. Just to much going on. My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary and had a big party back on the 13th. She had me adding a front porch on to the house! I had to learn several new gospel songs from Pete's new album along with a couple as yet unreleased counrty songs that have Mike Johnson all over them. You know that is a challenge. And I still pastor a small church. Not making excuses but I really am busy. I will make it to one of the jams though - I promise! I did have fun at Gary's very first jam way back when!!!
