| i have a 67 emmons 8&4 s/n 1107d that i bought new what would be the going price for this guitar on market today and it is a splittail very good shape and has good sound thru all of the strings and all good above the 12 fret but thats a emmons any enput would be helpful, so thanks! |

MO is that you easily could ask between $2500 and $3000.But hey....thats my opinion.

This one of mine is #2615 (without the D). It's a genuine '66 Emmons P/P with bolt-on changers.
I really don't believe he Emmons timeline chart on Carter's website is 100% accurate! |

Yep, I said it, this guitar is a great classic, an original and a good investment.
They have something in tone that no other steel guitar has with the exception of the Promatt. Again, condition means everything, some of these guitars could only be worth $600.00, and other ones $6000.00. Having a complete inspection by a person that knows every thing about these guitars is a good idea. For instance, if the front is drilled for a later model nameplate, this could effect the value of the guitar up to $800.00.
Aftermarket knee levers can hurt original collector value of the guitar, What would be the value of a '67 that has never been touched, never had knees installed, still in the original case with the factory paperwork? Priceless!
