Johnny Cox Ozark Steel Guitars

Post by Patrick Richards »

A shout-out to Johnny Cox for the work he did on my 78 8X4 p/p Emmons D10. The guitar needed a setup on the E neck and the C neck adjusted. Additionally, it needed a good cleaning and buffing on the key head.

In Johnny's words "The guitar is stage ready." The action is smooth and adjusted perfectly. It looks great and plays like an Emmons should. The sound? Hey, it's a push pull with the original single coils.

The service was timely and certainly reasonable for the amount of work done. Being able to spend time with Johnny, priceless.

What a great resource for steel players regardless of where you live. :D Thanks Johnny. Pat
