How do I re-position a pullrod?

Post by Mitchell Blum »

I need to reduce the slack/change the action on my GFI pedals. Can anyone explain how to change the position of the pull rod at the pull bar and/or the changer fingers?

Wow. Maybe I'll just surgically lengthen my left leg . . .

Thanks for the prompt reply and encouragement I'll attempt it -- glad to have a trailblazer out there!

Thanks

It looks dead easy.
Loosen screw, slide out rod (that's clever, having the rod hold the puller in), pop the puller out, move it to the new hole, slide the rod back in, tighten screw.
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

Too easy! No hole change. All that was needed was to (1) loosen ferrule screw (2) take up some slack in the rod (3) re-tighten and that was it.

Thanks guys,
Mitch
