George sell is my grandfather. He is the maker of GES steel guitars. Today I bought one of his guitars. I was trying to get any information about his guitars or about him. We were very close and his guitars are hard to come by. I've done a lot of research but information from people that knew him is better. Here are 2 guitars I bought

Glad you were able to find a couple of your Grand-dad's guitars! Congrats!

Two beautiful guitars! I'm very happy to see a good outcome for you. Steel guitar builders are a very elite class of people, especially the ones who do it all (or pretty much all) on their own. I say that makes you "Steel Guitar Royalty". Please don't be a stranger to our community.

The only other reference to George E. Sells guitars I've ever seen were the "technical photos" in Winnie Winston's book.

Very cool to see these two; great examples of the artistic, boutique nature of the steel industry.
