For those with multiple knee levers on one knee:

I'm thinking of adding some changes which would give me 2 knee levers on LL as well as 2 verticals (along with "just the usual" RL and RR)

1) Do you favor the inner over the outer, i.e. would you tend to put the most often used change on the
inner (closest to you) or outer?

2) are the changes on the verticles comfortable to use with various other combos? Seems like different builders use different types of levers. I am planning on a Zum...

Will eventually post setup thoughts. Thanks for your input in advance!

John I have two LL kneelevers on my Zum, and a vertical and LKR. The LL closest to you will be the one you use the most eg: Raise both E's to F. The other one which is closer to the front of the guitar requires you to push your knee forward to engage it. The vertical and all the other knees are adjustable for tilt, so yes you can easily use them in combination with each other/pedals etc.

I prefer the opposite with my 2 LKL levers: the LKL that I use most is further away from me.

I don't like the idea of leaving extra space between levers in order to scoot ahead and hit another one, so mine are like Earnest's. I also think it's a matter of how long-legged you are and how close to the guitar you normally sit.

When I first considered adding an extra LKL, my existing LKL was already away from the rear apron, and activated with the tip of my knee. It felt very natural to just pull my hip back a little to activate the outside one. When I had two RKL's, I did the same thing.

However, having the regular knee levers as close together as possible, pretty much precludes having two verticals on the same knee, unless one is in front of or behind the other. I've never built or seen a guitar set up like that.

I just added lever 9 to the Bud
RKL 2 for C6 only, it is back near the apron,
the other is between the two necks, and can't be moved.

I have the new back lever outside the older front lever .
I now find to use it as intended I must add an pivoting " L" arm off the RKR lever.
RKL 2 is a invers Pedal 6
RKL 1 is C to B and
RKR is A's to Bb.
Really need to use that a lot alternating with the inverse 6 lever.

Still trying to put on LKL 2 for C6, that one will be the outside and to the left of the other LKL.

Thinking of extending Pedal 7 downward with a lever
for High or Low V chord possiblities at root position.
s 7 C -1 to B
s 8 A -2 to G
s 9 F -1 to E
s 10 C +2 to D

John, I used to have an MSA S12 that came with 2 vertical knees. These were shorter in length than the normal verticals but the LL and LR knees still had to be separated farther apart than I liked. My new Carter has a second LL instead of 2 verticals, [at Bud and Johns suggestion] and this works well for me. I do have a "flag" on the LL knee that is closer to the front in order to reach it more comfortably. George
