Emmons SKH Keyheads

Post by Dave Diehl »

Two unused short head keyheads for sale. I believe these were used on the early LeGrandes before the Lashley LeGrandes. They are 5.5 inches long (neck opening to end) and total 3 5/8" wide. Asking $105 each shipped. Black marks in pictures are just buffing compound that did get wiped off.

When did Emmons use split keyheads?

Never known them to use anything but the split head on a SKH. Look on the Forum at any SKH for sale and you'll see it.

Dave,
You are correct!
I did some checking around and I see the split keyheads on the SKH guitars.
I wonder why they did that?
